Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription plans

Paid subscriptions (such as the Prep plan) are billed in advance for the chosen period. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.

Because access is granted immediately, subscription fees for a period already in progress are generally non-refundable. If you were charged in error, or could not access the Service because of a fault on our side, contact us and we will make it right.

2. Per-session mentorship

Rescheduling and cancellation by you

Mentorship is booked and paid for one session at a time. You may reschedule or cancel a session up to 12 hours before its scheduled start time. Within that window:

• Reschedule freely to another available slot with the same or a different verified mentor.
• Cancel for a full refund of that session, processed to your original payment method.

Cancellations or reschedule requests made less than 12 hours before the session are not eligible for a refund, because the mentor’s time has been reserved for you.

Cancellation by the mentor

If a mentor cancels a confirmed session, you will be offered a reschedule at no extra cost or a full refund of that session — your choice.

3. No-show policy

If you do not join a confirmed session within a reasonable time of its start and did not cancel within the allowed window, the session is treated as completed and is not refundable. If a mentor fails to join, it is treated as a mentor cancellation and you are fully refunded.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund or raise a billing concern, email hello@meritmarg.in from the address on your account. Please include your registered email, the plan or session in question, and the date of the transaction so we can locate it quickly.

5. Processing time

Once a refund is approved, we initiate it promptly. It is typically processed within 5–7 business days, after which the payment provider and your bank may take additional time to credit the amount back to your original payment method.
